CDR-1354: SR Set: The Lasting Legacy of Emperor Constantine
It is argued that Christianity would not have survived to become the major religion it is today were it not for the critical role Constantine played in its establishment. History has acknowledged him as a successful secular leader and an administrator known for civil and military reform, but he is particularly noted for promoting Christianity after the establishment of religious tolerance with the Edict of Milan. Our set illustrates events in Constantine's life, his mother Helena's influence, his baptism, and the establishment of the new city of Constantinople. It also includes important early figures in the church and examples of church architecture that proliferated under his widespread influence.
