CDR-1212: SR Set: Italian Renaissance Art

Gathered from the major museums of Western Europe, we present here a wide selection of images from the work of the numerous astounding artists of Quattrocento and Cinquecento Italy. Painted works include Fra Angelico's Annunciation, Botticelli's Primavera, Raphael's Sistine Madonna, Giorgione's Tempest, Titian's Venus of Urbino, and Veronese's Marriage Feast at Cana. Sculptural works include statues of David by Donatello, Verrocchio, and Michelangelo. Other works by Michelangelo include the Moses, and the Medici Chapel Tombs. Examples of relief sculpture range from Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise to della Robbia's charming Cantoria. Please note: Academic Image Sets are offered to show the breadth of our collections.
