CDR-1234: SR Set: Prehistoric Art

From the ancient monoliths of Stonehenge on the Salisbury plain to dazzling painted bison of the Alta Mira cave in Spain, our collection offers a variety of works from prehistoric times. There are Neolithic sites from the Orkney Islands in Scotland, and Bronze Age petroglyphs from Northern Bohuslän in Sweden. Also included are primitive stone tools, striking fertility figures and intricate fibulae that illustrate the breadth of artistic achievement at the dawn of time. 11/2008
