CDR-1237: SR Set: Literary Images
Designed to enhance disciplines such as English and French literature, this set offers literary images ranging from the works of Ovid to Cocteau or from Sappho to Madame de Sévigné. Here are literary figures, their colleagues and milieu, as well as illustrations from their works. Images range from Greek busts, Roman mosaics, and medieval manuscripts, to broadsheets, engravings, and caricatures. In addition, this remarkable mix is liberally sprinkled with old favorite characters like Pantagruel, Mr. Fezziwig, and Sancho Panza. updated 8/2009
