CDR-1305: SR Set: Native North American Art and Culture I, Depictions of Native North Americans

In this reworking of our Native North American Art set, we have concentrated largely on artistic descriptions or impressions of native Americans ranging from those of early European visitors to later studies by Catlin, Bierstadt, Remington, etc. Early photographic portraits by Edward S. Curtis are included as well as articles of clothing, images of historic events and architectural views of the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC. Updated November 2013
