Licensing Information

Apply for a site license

The Scholars Resource collection draws upon copyrighted material. Each contributing image vendor has established her/his own licensing procedure. These licensing procedures continue to apply when you license these images from Scholars Resource. Once you have a signed site license agreement on file with our vendors, you may order images online. Remember, images are licensed in perpetuity; you need to sign the Site License Agreement only once.

If your institution already has an existing site license agreement in place with one or more contributing vendor and your name has been linked to your institution’s account on the website, you will be able to order online.

If your institution does not have any Site License Agreement(s) in place yet, please click on the link on this page to apply and the agreements for each vendor will be sent to you. Once you receive these agreements, you will need to sign and return them to Scholars Resource. We will then update your account online to indicate that you are authorized to order digital images on the Scholars Resource site.

Licensing fees for digital images are set by each vendor. Scholars Resource has incorporated each vendor’s pricing structure and will apply these fees on your order and subsequent invoice. Digital Images offered on the Scholars Resource website are licensed in perpetuity for a one-time fee.

If you have any questions, please contact us at info@scholarsresource.com or call us toll-free at 1-800-688-3040 ext. 212.
